Seems odd that so many Muslims want to obey their religion, which is archaic at best, and imposes their own Sharia law, whilst enjoying and FULLY exploiting non Sharia benefits, public transport, education, utilities etc.

About time some people from some cultures made a decision: if it don't suit here, fuck off to where it does.

I would be carefull with that language as lack of intergration is not unique to Asians, there are plenty of other wierd/odd religions that I do not aprove of and many of them are from the christian side of the fence. I am also puzzled as to what "non-sharia" means as charity and public service have always been a duty of all muslims so there is no conflict there that I can see between provision of social wellfare and Islam.

Having said that there does seem to be a worryingly low level of young UK asian women from muslim backgrounds to be found in the wider workplace or society. Earlier migrant families seemed to have spawned many female professionals such as doctors and the like but over the last two decades it seems that all the women under 40 have vanished from large parts of the workplace.

Wasn't there some allegations of kiddy fiddling with a former senior Scottish politico who went to work overseas. Connected to Blair regime. Never saw mainstream coverage but lots of forum references. Don't know if balls or just hushed up like many of the kids homes stuff passim. Thealleged person was not non white. Just scots

Doing it with a finger or two,eyes scrunched a bit near the screen, trying to make sure I don't make a mess or mistake in the process.

Until you mentioned that last bit, I hadn't given it a thought: you seldom see Asian women on TV or in the media anymore. I seem to recall a much higher profile in the past, despite a lower proportion of the population being Asian / Muslim etc. Is something going on behind closed doors?
