as the old saying goes, don't believe everything you read in the newspapers. especiallly anything from HURST. Those of us in the know, will know that almost everything he says is a total fabrication. After 22 years in province since 1984, (and still here!) all I can say is that HURST will say anything for money. A total Int nuisance in the classic sense. A real walter. One minute he says McG was an agent and next he says that he directed the terror campaign, responsible for thousands of deaths. I would agree with the second statement but how can anyone seriously believe that McG was a British agent? HURST is a dangerous liability with the world's biggest chip on his chubby shoulders.

If it felt (in Ulster) as if some Brit advantage was unglued as a result, then that was symptomatic of the (understandable) self-absorption of Ulsterfolk, immersed as they were in the struggle, as a day-to-day impediment on their lives.
My only concern with Gibraltar was that one got away...allegedly

According to the press at the time, evelyn glenholmes was the alleged fourth member. she is, sadly, still very much alive.

The hearing impaired percussionist? I fear you've been misinformed and should apologise forthwith.

Drummers/Percussionists = Mercenary Bastards, worse than trumpet players IMHO and that's saying something.

Most of them are deaf and spend a lot of time trying to make others deaf as well.

    Evil.
    You're all puffs.
