Well he didn't wear one in 2000 AD - it was a Stallone-style affectation for the film, FFS! Hopefully, Karl Urban's forthcoming Dredd will be more authentic.

Once all of the 'Bruvvas' coral membership of these 'courts' justice will no doubt be summarily processed. what a complete and utter load of bollocks. Some of these MPs need to go and live in their constituencies for a while and just what it is that Joe public has to live with. Someone needs a fucking reality check sharpish before the knee cappings start.

We already have Sharia, as well as Beth Din courts for the Jews. Both are classed as arbitration under the Arbitration Act 1996; they can be used if both parties agree, and are subject to English law at all times. So whilst you might get a Sharia ruling on payment of interest, you're not going to get any hangings.
