Can anyone explain why it is that the names of the journos arrested quickly enter the public domain, but those of police officers, etc don't?

The Sun is no worse than many others.
The Mirror appeals to a similar audience only with a more left-wing (and scouse) orientation. Piers Moron hardly covered himself in glory when he gave evidence to the Leveson Inquiry and it beggars belief that he wasn't doing anything less odious than the NoW.
The Mail is also being lampooned by numerous celebs with an axe to grind and does anyone think the Guardian's motives and behaviour with, for example, the wickileaks affair are any more honest and transparent than others.
No-one really believes the UK press are totally un-biased do they? I am just surprised that anyone thinks their conduct is going to be beyond reproach.Officially classed as a Bigot by The Party - and proud of it!

11-02-2012, 16:21 #50We should remember the tremendous contribution of the Queen Mother to the war effort:
As the BBC pointed out, she 'bravely remained in London beside her husband' during the war.
This contrasts sharply with the actions of my grandfather who, on the declaration of war immediately left his wife and children and pissed off, first to France, then North Africa, Italy, France (again) and finally Germany.
The shame will always be with us.
