    Washington is thinking of sending humanitarian aid to Syria.

    Breaking News on the BBC reporting that Washington is now thinking of sending humanitarian aid to Syria.

    Question is .... how many weapons will be smuggled into those bags of rice sweepings.

    It will surely be seen as a means to cloak assistance being sent under the label of 'humanitarian' aid.

    I don't think many will buy that idea, given that Russia and China are suspicious of the US and French moves!

    I forsee a suddenly unhealthy environment for Syrian air power.

    If it's been sent from my HTC Sensation using Tapatalk then I'm probably pissed.
    We need people who look to the stars, holding the nation and the world in their hearts but at the same time we need down-to-earth people who can do serious and trying work.

    In a definite sense, a country's power and prestige isn't only a reflection of its economic power but also a reflection of its people's quality and morality. Moreover, I think the latter is actually more important in the long-term.

    Well the aid will probably need to be delivered by C130/C17. Which will of course need escorting fighters....
