What if you had a bad night's sleep and had suicidal thoughts the day its your turn to 'drive'?
Heard about this on Radio 4 early this morning and it sounds rubbish but it'll probably be the way forward. Not quite got the panache of running the guns or storming a defended mountain has it. Sat in slippers in a tent looking a screen shouting "Fly my beauty and hurt the man in the turban over there."X Factor Spoof! Safe for work! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qTYVnrhU_8

As a civvie joining up, I have no real experience or knowledge of what is going through a soldier's head when he's awaiting confirmation of whether or not they have permission to engage a target. However, I could imagine that sometimes the soldier will be thinking to themselves "Fire!" or similar, could this not cause problems if they were awaiting instruction but were naturally thinking of engaging the target and the drone was to follow their thoughts rather than their intended actions?

It'll lead to the greatest leap backwards in the history of modern warfare. If this site is anything to go by it's not a particularly wise idea to allow those who's thoughts are primarily skiffing, tits, Daily Mail outrage and SLR to control anything with their thoughts.
