    HMS Dauntless set for Falklands

BBC News - HMS Dauntless destroyer deployed to Falklands by navy

Anyone know how many exocets the Argies have? Is it more than four? ;)
There is no question so obviously stupid that it prevents one supposedly intelligent human from asking it of another.

Likewise, there is no human problem that cannot be solved by the correct application of the appropriate quantity of high explosive, the suitable quantity being derived by the Formula P, where P = "plenty"

Nobody ever imagined a bunch of Orcs would steal a database table...

More depends how far off the runway the Argie jets manage. They'll be a race between the Typhoon's and T45 as to who can turn the aircraft into scrap first.

No doubt we will be bombarded with news footage of chubby female/male "seamen" crying about being so far away from home with the risk of a punch up and missing their mum/dad/stepdad/lesbian or same sex partner/kids/tatooist etc.

Anyway god speed I hope all that expensive technology works and the corn beef eating football cheating gauchos get a taste of British spunk! Hoorah

HMS Dauntless predecessor was the WRNS training establishment. It is therefore logical that the crew should be all female! that would be enough to frighten the Argies off!

Will they sink it so Prince William can rescue everyone?

    That'll be the Argies told.
We should remember the tremendous contribution of the Queen Mother to the war effort:
As the BBC pointed out, she 'bravely remained in London beside her husband' during the war.
This contrasts sharply with the actions of my grandfather who, on the declaration of war immediately left his wife and children and pissed off, first to France, then North Africa, Italy, France (again) and finally Germany.
The shame will always be with us.

is it fully crewed? Judging from recent TV, the ship is probably toppers with ITV documentary makers and their fluffers...

This thing could shoot down anything in the air before the Typhoons could even get airborne. It's an unbelievable bit of kit.
