If he got rid of his car and walked he may even lose some weight which could aid his mobility, so we will be performing a service to the taxpayer and the NHS, and as a side benefit he even gets himself fitter.

You might choose not to drive a HGV but apparently you are still legally entitled to if you want to.

The DVLA are perfectly happy to have someone who may fall asleep at any time driving around with 40plus tons of metal, POL and cargo?
