Bliar, man of the people, chooses his friends ..

Dr Johnson: 'Any man thinks less of himself for not having been a soldier, or not having been to sea.'

Admiral of the Fleet Lord Fisher of Kilverstone: 'Moderation in war is imbecility!'

Douglas MacArthur: 'There is no substitute for Victory!'

Reading today that Labour are going to use him at the election.

I'd have thought that the Tories would be loving that. He's a massive liability and would be open to having his shady and money grabbing post PM life exposing him as an unprincipled and shameful operator.

I read that he's going to cost Labour 5 grand a day. Money well spent?

Anyone else note Blair’s choice of friends immediately after he gave evidence to the Iraq Inquiry. He scuttled back to
his rooms in the American Colony Hotel, Jerusalem, and granted an extended interview for his Republican friend at
Fox News, Mike Huckabee. It was an opportunity for Blair to strengthen his support base with an appreciative home
audience (America) and also to describe the Chilcot team as an unnecessary process. Has Antoinne gone native?
