The issue being discussed is very serious and frankly not very well understood outside the Stormont hothouse. A Radio 4 programm from NI made it perfectly clear that the NI population didn't give a damm about the tw*ts in Stormant playing kiddies's games and wanted slightly more urgent issue for NI dealing with, like health, jobs, education, etc, etc. If I remember rightly the real people were being to like their Pols as much as we like our f**kwits in Westminister.

Everyone wants peace, everyone wants policing and justice devolved and if that is what the R4 program asked that's the answer they got. What they didn't ask is: on what terms? That is one of the problems, everyone wants it on their own terms. Billy MacBigot doesn't want the IRA in control of the police and Paddy O'Bombplanter doesn't want the Orangemen i/c peelers either.

The increasing mood of 'a curse a both your houses' is encouraging.
