Hit squad arrested in Ireland over plot to murder Swedish cartoonist:

Well, we certainly all know how dangerous cartoons can be. In order to preserve peace and an air of understanding this guy just has to go.

Well it was only a matter of time something like this would pop up here.
There have been rumblings for years about the guys (and girls) th Gardai and G2 have been watching.

Thanks to all who read my little contributions and don't shout nasty words at me, it means so much and I like the likes. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my parents for their tremendous support throughout my career and without whom I would not be standing here today. Also my agent, she's been my rock.
Do be careful though as Hector and his clique may descend upon you with their stock in trade proclamations of your inherent inferiority. And as it's the internet, they get off on it.

The cartoonist lives ina remote Swedish village. The investigation included not only the garda but also the CIA, FBI and presumably whatever their Swedish equivelent is.
