Now THAT'S a landslide!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/8517378.stm
I hope everyone was evacuated in time and safe. There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: this glass is half full. And there are those that say: this glass is half empty.
The world belongs, however to those who can look at the glass and say: 'What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!'.

Certainly not something I'd like! Brings a whole new meaning to such phrases as: "Did the earth move for you and moving house!"
"I'd rather be a tired old Has been, than a tired old Never Has Been!!"
"If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy."
Semper in excremento sum, solum profunditas mutat
According to Ispeakcrabandpongo "Typically Island Ape Brits," That suits me!

That's just the tail end of it. If you have a look at Liveleak you'll note it goes on for a whole lot longer.
It's rather severe.Join me on HoboWars!

Re: Now THAT'S a landslide!
I thought it was only in Austria that "the hills are alive." Somebody wrote a song about it, I'm sure...
We need people who look to the stars, holding the nation and the world in their hearts but at the same time we need down-to-earth people who can do serious and trying work.
In a definite sense, a country's power and prestige isn't only a reflection of its economic power but also a reflection of its people's quality and morality. Moreover, I think the latter is actually more important in the long-term.
