On a Hot morning in cyprus I found the meaning of anger. Fortunataly I was comftably numb.
The RSM and various other NCO's seemed very agitated.
maybe they should look into counselling?
'The honesty and bravery of our fighting forces stands in stark contrast to the weasel words and dishonesty of their political masters'. Liam Fox Now with 'added irony'!
So in 6 years the British disposed of 2,350,000 of the Buganda?
Thats roughtly 1,075 a day, every day. Is there a historical record of ammunition usage for the period in that region???
Just shows how much of a soft touch the world see's us as these days doesn't it?
Well the Jerries managed quite well without a shot fired , well after the last shots were fired .
Trotha's troops defeated 3,000–5,000 Herero combatants at the Battle of Waterberg on 11-12 August 1904 but were unable to encircle and eliminate the military threat
Trotha issued an appeal to the Hereros:
I, the great general of the German troops, send this letter to the Herero people... All Hereros must leave this land... Any Herero found within the German borders with or without a gun, with or without cattle, will be shot. I shall no longer receive any women or children; I will drive them back to their people or have them fired upon. This is my decision for the Herero people
In total, between 24,000 and 65,000 Herero (estimated at 50% to 70% of the total Herero population) and 10,000 Nama (50% of the total Nama population) perished.
Figure in the fact that the Ugandans say this happened way back when in real terms I suppose the figs quoted might be true. However must have been the biggest tribe in the world with so many dead. What was the population of Uganda at the time- did Uganda even exsist as it is today at that time?
Still the lawyers a robbing chancing git , so Brown might feel some empathy for him.

Surely they would have gone in with the BAYONET, to save the cost of the ammo!
They should box clever. If they offer us enough money then I am sure we could make Uganda a new county of Great Britain. Then they could claim full benefits without ever leaving the shores of Africa.
I'll get my coat.
Are you reilly so sure they are not claiming benefits in Britain already?.
