Re: Missing Plod Found RIP
He didn't lay down his life for his friends. He was doing his job at the time, getting civvie fuckwits trying to get a good look of the floods away from a bridge that was under danger of collapsing. The bridge then collapsed, with him on it. I will stake a large sum of money that he never knew any of them, therefore they were not his friends.

Yes, it's tragic. The bloke was killed trying to do his job. But the nauseating grief whore shite pedalled on this forum, with morons who never knew the bloke posting utter claptrap is beyond belief sometimes.Pork Eating Crusader

I worked at the police station Bill was at and still know most of the guys based there. Speaking with one of them today, he told me Bill was a gentleman who will be sadly missed.

As a retired plod, I can only but imagine what his wife and family are going through.

RIP mate. Once again, we did absolutely everything we could, and I hope your family have comfort in that.
