Reminded me of that other commy barsteward Michael Foot, who turned up at the cenotaph dressed like a homeless tramp some years ago

If he bowed his head too far forward... his glass eye might have fallen out.... and thats the good one..... the one with the kindly Marxist glint in it.....

He hates the Army because his wife was nailed by a 2 Para bloke in her previous life. Ken...it's your fault mate!

Why the suprise, any respect that Brown has ever shown the Armed forces of the UK has at best been grudging and at worst feigned. If he had any honour he would resign.

Saw it yesterday; disgusted? Yes. Surprised? Nothing this oaf does surprises me any more. It's all over The Scum as well, on top of the error riddled letter of condolence he sent Gdsm Janes' mother:

    Bloody Shameful, Gordon Brown

I think it goes beyond simple lack of respect: I refuse to believe somebody has failed to tell this cretin that he is deeply unpopular with the forces fraternity. Given his position is it beyond him to apply a little bit of PPPPPPP and say to himself "I really can't afford to get this wrong"?

If he can't get the little things right and continues to state how much he cares, there can be only one conclusion - rank incompetence.

And on that subject, in what capacity was Mandelson attending? Other than self promotion of course.
