Threat to throw boy from bridge
A boy was held over the side of a bridge in Milton Keynes by two men who threatened to drop him over the edge.
The 13-year-old was walking between Leadenhall and Eaglestone with friends who were pouring a drink over the bridge on to the road below.
Two men stopped their car, slapped the boy in the face and pushed his head over the edge of bridge which crosses the H7, threatening to throw him off.
The boy was pushed to the ground before the men drove off.
Anyone with information about the incident on Thursday is asked to contact police.
LUCK (Dennis McHarrie)
I suppose they'll say his last thoughts were of simple things, Of April back at home, and the late sun on his wings; Or that he murmured someone else's name, As earth reclaimed him sheathed in flame. Oh God! Let's have no more of empty words, Lip service ornamenting death! The worms don't spare the hero; Nor can children feed upon resounding praises of his deed. 'He died who loved to live,' they'll say, 'Unselfishly so we might have today!' Like hell! He fought because he had to fight; He died that's all. It was his unlucky night.

Re: Threat to throw boy from bridge
Well we only have the word of the "victim" that they weren't.
Having a gang of feral youths in the village I live in, who whenever they are caught yell "It wasn't me, we did nothing. he's picking on us" if plod do eventually turn up, I'm sure it was not an unprovoked attack.
Still, I'm sure that someone is working on making him sound like Gandhi.LUCK (Dennis McHarrie)

It was 2 old school police
You see! This is why birds and CID don't mix.
You give a bloke a gun and he thinks its a dream come true
You give a girl one and she knows it doesn't go with a dress.

Having lived in MK before I joined up (my parents still live there) I would've stopped and done the same. The walkovers are quite high, and I've seen things thrown off them before. Little fcuker needed a lesson.
