Re: A Question of Question Time

The main thing I noticed was how "Dick Griffin" was spouting off about how his policies were not about black vs. white and then used the word white interchangeably with English.

That doesnt change the fact that she is speaking the most sense out of those on the panel. She's from dewsbury, what chance does a tory have getting elected up there!
Thats why the house of lords is essential, smart people blocking government enacting dumbass laws - she seemed smart up until the 'no bogus asylum seeker' comment - if no one claims asylum here under false pretences why do we repatriate them?
I think she was referring to the terminology rather than the statement. As Asylum seeker is a legal term and you either are one or you're not. Had Griffin said "Those looking to seek Asylum under false pretences" he would have made the point clearer.
Doesn't matter, she made a cock up for everybody to see. All she achieved was to make Griffin look right

That sentence doesn't really say very much about the caliber of BNP voters does it?

I mean, if the BBC were stopping BNP supporters from going on the show (personally, if you believe that, then you're barking mad) - it doesn't take very much to say "No" when asked "do you support the BNP?"

She hasn't though has she? How has she done that? She was correct in the terms she meant.

:D Jesting aside his tone was almost reasonable and not far from the opinions I have expressed myself on occasion (on the gay subject anyway)

Well to be fair to him Britain was white. Certainly the British were in the neolithic era. That was the point he was trying to make. Not saying I agree with his policies though.

    Fair shout about Homosexuals mind.

I dont like seeing 2 men snogging in public and I dont want my kids learning about homosexuality or anything sexual in primary school. Fair point and the cretins in the crowd should wind it in.
