Yeah, I f**ked up, I accept that. But it wasn't as if this lot were going to be sympathetic to someone who was caught smuggling drugs into a foreign ( even if he possibly wasn't aware he was doing anything wrong because of his illness)

But the contract thing, I think we are going to continue to disagree on that, you can always try to get it enfoced in court if you want, but you won't becaus you know you would be laughed out the building.

As to the bipolar thing, if he was truly delusional at the time of the offense as is being claimed then in this country at least it could be argued the M'Naghten rule apply.

But then Chinese justice isn't even as advanced as we were back in 1843

Think on the bright side - he will completely forget he is going to get shot, and when they put the blindfold on and he remembers, he can pretend its someone else who is going receive a half dozen 7.62's to the chest :D

It is only very severe cases of manic-depressives that get delusions. Mcnaughton rules would of course not apply unless as you've pointed out he was tried in this country. As pointed out by myself manic-depressives rarely get delusions and if he has, well he can think he's the Emperor of China until the bullet has exited.
