One thing strikes me when reading about death penalty cases abroad involving British citizens where they are trying to get them off: it's always they're mentally ill/inadequate evidence/any number of excuses absolving them of any responsibility for the crime, never, just don't believe in the death penalty...anybody else noticed this?
