Really? What happens when he gets hungry next time? Have you gone three days without anything to eat lately?

No, I haven't. And i'd imagine he'd think twice about not putting the wrapper in the bin

I used to use the Sally Army drop in centre for free lunch at teh bottom of Botchergate. I'm told it's still in operation. Is teh one on Abbey Street still on the go?

Forgot about that bit, did he get any punishment for littering?

    Plain or milk chocolate?

I personally don't think anybody can really comment on this case until we have the full details.
I bought a military watch. It didn't tell me the time, it told me to get my hair cut.

In truth I don't know, the Abbey Street one was still on the go last time I looked but not sure about the Botchergate one.

I think the police should have given him a caution, having kept him in custody long enough to give him a meal.

Then they should have cut his fucking hands off for littering.

A good harsh sentence. Big thumbs up here.

The second issue about him going without food is a slightly different one. Granted he shouldn't have gone without income for so long but then he shouldn't be on benefits in the first place. A government work scheme where you earn an income by picking up litter or separating rubbish for recycling at least puts something back in to the system. I'm sure there are a myriad of other possible s*ite jobs that could be done too. It may not be the most prestigious of careers but that should provide motivation to find better employment.
