Re: Swine Flu
I assume your referring to UK deaths & not worldwide deaths as worldwide is well over 25 million since 1981

Re: Swine Flu
Man flu is more painful than childbirth. This is a scientific fact based on a survey of over 100,000 men.

Men suffering man flu want nothing more than to get out of bed and go to work but they are too selfless to risk spreading this awful condition among their friends and colleagues. In this sense, they are the greatest heros the country has ever known.
While it may seem like a man flu sufferer is lying round enjoying "Diagnosis Murder", it is a commonly recognised fact that the exact pitch and frequency of Dick Van Dyke's voice has remarkable soothing powers.
Full recovery from man flu will take place much quicker if their requests for care, sympathy and regular cups of tea are met. Is that too much to ask for? Florence Nightingale would have done it.

Fat bird flu is dangerous to everyone! Have you seen the way we ripple when we sneeze? Not to mention we have 20x more snot production due to our 'glands'! There's a very real risk of flash floods of bogeys if it spreads within a weight watchers meeting!

Re: Swine Flu
We had a spate of people getting 'Whine flu' at home on a weekend and being unable to come back to camp for a week. The feared outbreak ended when a couple of pages of the unit pandemic flu policy were highlighted to the lads. It stated that as swine flu can only be caught once (unless it mutates) then those who have previously been diagnosed with swine flu will be the carers for the unit flu ward.
It then went on to describe the disposal of bodies etc...
This may, or may not, have been a forgery by 'someone' but since has been adapted into the genuine PF policyalso available in sarcastic
