Seems to me the rule is to not claim under AFCS but via civil claims. Clearly MoD need to adjust AFCS upward sharpish.

I know this individual, it was his feet that had the cold injury (not his hands as stated). Seniors from the RSM down wanted him kicked out but it was the command ellement that were to scared to do anything so he was put in the post room (that was a vacancy filled). It was very frustrating when trying to get him to go on duty/Ex etc but he is not aloud out in temp below 15C. However, when off duty could be seen in town in flipflops. He played the game and he played it very well

So that they can make claims against the crown and get given loads of money. Also, we wern't in a recssion back then so the recruiting offices weren't as busy as they probably are now.

I had a couple in one of my old units that had "Bad Backs". Only these must have been 'Special' Bad Backs as they didn't stop them bench pressing and throwing weights around in the gym, nor did the Bad Back's stop them playing range-rugby, or riding bikes, going running. But they did stop them from doing Guard Duties, Exercises and Sub-Unit PT. I tried Staffing the deceit up through the CoC, but the same CoC told me to back off.

It's a fecking joke and the crux of it is that the system (CoC) is shitt scared of being singled out as being discriminatory.

Most of them have probably joined with NFCI's as most will very rarely have worn a decent pair of shoes. Plus, come rain or shine, they have grown up standing around on street corners whilst wearing un-laced trainers.

WOW, during my training I got cold, wet, beasted...nobody told me rain was wet & mud run's in the Exe made me dirty...................were do I claim my prize!!!!!
