I thought Guinness was a Stout.

Littlecock is a carping, worthless hack, beloved of the gullible lot who tend to read the Mail.

    Sam Tyler - grout
"You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Back to the thread - for a while, anyway.

I hate anyone who enters a country and expects its' protection, then slags said country off all the time. It's their right to do so under their freedom of speech, and my right to hate them for it.

But I have no trouble with his encouraging young moslems to "Join the Jihad". I hope our lads stay safe, but sending amateurs who hate us (and our way of life) out to a place where they can be legitimately slotted by the professionals?

I see very little in the way of a downside here, provided our chaps remain alert.

I think the ones you have to worry about are the majority indigenous 'pop' that gave the 'Raj' a bloody nose, sent 'Ivan' packing and who will do the same to 'uncle sam'....Lessons of history et al....
