"No"
What are they going to do? Sack you for wearing a rubber band. The issue where I am has actually become a bit of a running joke but it draws attention everytime and is a good window to explain what its all about.
Well done, hat's off for not just doing the easy thing and giving in.
I was pulled for a roadside inspection at the weekend and three of the four Plod guarding the civvy inspectors were wearing them.
Funny how the one that wasn't was standing in the p1ssing rain while the others lurked under an awning with steaming mugs in their mitts.....
There are several of us on my shift who are ex forces. There are also a few serving in various forms of reserve and what have you. It would be an uphill struggle for any boss who wanted to challenge such an issue "On paper."
If BAe got the contract then we'd order a couple of Leopard Seals to deal with the penguins but we'd end up with a couple of Salmon 'fitted for but not with' teeth by 2038 at only £24bn.
Drive on recklessly, give no quarter and take no prisoners; anything that comes into our sights should be mown down.

Now that's what I call a Mission Intent.

Only if its a sensitive subject and a cause that is supported from the top will it be given the go ahead. More than likely there is a gay commissioner in charge of those badges which hates what the military is doing because they are too sensitive to even consider joining our heroes. Pussys thats what they are. Political correctness gone mad, but why wouldn the union back be classed as authorised its what the police and government is based on our tradition and history.
MY GOD Lets use our vote to decide who we want BNP

Wear my Arsenal pin, my Rupert and my H4H band. All of them conversation-starters/good ice-breakers. No SMT care... or are there to notice, actually.
The CO18 lads/lasses have too much other stuff hanging off them for a small badge to stand out really.
Re: Heathrow cops banned from supporting UK Armed forces
Whether the story is true or not is irrelevant. Sadly it would not surprise me if it were true. A few years ago I had the misfortune to live in Reading. One day I had to go into the Council Offices and it had Welcome written on the door in about 6/7 variations of Indian/Wherever and English right at the bottom which you could hardly see. Bloody ridiculous. What annoys me is the government go on and on about being skint, yet we're forking out for immigrants who haven't worked since coming to the UK, and the actual real GREAT BRITISH people, like the armed forces, hardly get any help at all...makes my blood boil. Someone needs to take grip of the government and reform the benefits system before there are no Brits left in the UK.
Oh, and if anyone ever told me to take my H4H wrist band or pin off I'd tell them to f**k Off.

Trouble is it's not just "our citizens" that hate us it's also the bloody immigrants that have come over, bled us dry, and then realised that actually whilst we might earn more than they do back home we also have a much higher cost of living. Makes me mad when all they have to do is crawl back under a sodding hgv and sod off back to where they came from. Sorry if that offends anyone, but quite frankly I don't see why we should pick up the bill for someone who cannot be assed to work, and see's the UK as an easy touch like it has been for the last god knows how long.
Sheissa, can feel myself getting on my soap box in a minute and doing a "dad" impression!
