Are the BNP gaining in popularity? Yes I think we can agree they are. So why is that? Do people really change their minds overnight (politicaly) or has something been going on for quite some time that no-one is has done anything about.
No, we dont agree. The only reason the BNP managed to get 2 people elected was because of voter apathy, not because more people voted for the BNP. Do people change their minds overnight? No. Ignorant and blinkered idiots who like to find an easy target for all their wows will always be that way Im affraid.
Griffin still polled over 138'000 votes, would you be the man to stand in front of all of them and call each one racist...I doubt it.
The reason the BNP won the seats was the complete failure of the major parties to address the problems we are facing.
Also if you didnt vote then you gave up your right to moan at the outcome.

While on the subject of the BNP; I fully support the inherent human right to voice one's opinion publicly without fear of censorship or punishment, but what really grips me about the BNP is their use of the Union Jack in their party logo.
Conservatives have a Tree.
Labour has a Rose.
Liberal Democrats have a Bird.
But the BNP (I’m sure they think it’s a very cleaver bit of thinking) have the Union Jack.
I firmly believe that by their association they are damaging the public perception of the national flag, to the point where police officers are told to remove it in case it causes offence. The only way it could cause offence is by people perceiving that the wearing of the National Flag is in some way supporting the BNP.
The growing embarrassment to wear even a tie pin depicting the Union Jack must be reversed. For example I can’t think of another national police force that doesn’t have its national flag on its uniform. You certainly would never see a US official or senior manager leave home without their Starry Banner pin on.
The Union Jack should defiantly not be allowed to be used in any political party’s logo.
Maybe the issue of the Union Jack deserves its own thread away for the BNP one.....!

It makes one wonder how many more votes they would have got if they were represented in all local councils?
Now that would be an argument for the PC Brigade hey?
Of course its not all the foreigners faults (although some are to blame) its also the fault of any knobber who comes up with PC ideas that appear to give minority an advantage, the fault of knobbers who can't get to grips immigrations and of course the knobbers who just scream racist at BNP voters instead of finding out what their problems are and trying to fix them.
No, I mean appearing on repeated BNP threads making ignorant ill - educated posts, and giving the "more and more people will vote BNP cause its all the foreigners fault innit" mantra. Thats the quack

I recognise your use of the phrase "appear to give minority(sic) an advantage". That's partly the problem because people like you bang on about asylum seekers taking people's jobs when the can be proved not to. Or someone else (not you) goes on because the council put on a free bus to specifically aid an ethnic minority citing it as reverse racism. Of course they conveniently forget that there are children's buses, school buses, licky buses, old folks buses as well as many other community projects that help all the communities.
It is a convenience that racists like to use to blame everything on a racial minority, why don't you have a go at the disabled? After all they make up a smaller percentage of the population than ethnic minorities but the receive a far higher percentage of council spend with every public and commercial building being adapted to their needs. Or is it just the disabled from ethnic minorities that should be pilloried for that? Why do you place so much emphasis on the colour of a person's skin? Why is that more important than the colour of their hair or eyes? When they do no harm to you why do you choose to dislike them?
Just remember it is the people in work, of all races and religions that support those who can't or choose not to work and it is their taxes that pay your wages. Unless of course you have stood by your convictions and asked for a reduction in your wages equal to the percentage of non-whites in the community; no? Thought not.
Edited to add: If BNP are true to their kind then after all the ethnic minorities have been 'cleansed' it'll be the turn of the disabled no doubt.
