How Long Will Gordon Brown Last?
Monday 8 June 2009, lunchtime - no later.
"You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

'ashie', he is your boss, can he survive over the week-end?
'parapuke', spill the pearls of wisdom, come on, don't be shy.
'whet', disappear, just like most of the so-called government.
'Sven', where the cucking hell are you when we need you?

Re: How Long Will Gordon Brown Last?
I mentioned some time ago that it will all be over by Christmas.
I'm standing by that.
I reckon a General Election in October or early November.

This useless gobshite loves the sound of his being pry minister. He'll use every available means to hang onto the post as long as he can. Watch for him superglueing his arse to the Downing Street seat, or calling a national emergency.

I bet he will announce a general election after the European election results.

His position is untenable. He will be forced out by his own party. I am betting he will have announced his acceptance of the situation by the middle of next week - 10 Jun 09 - and either a date for an election or a leadership contest within the Liarbore party.
