Where is the impropriety in folding paper?
Okay, after this one I'll give up flogging the dead horse :D
If you are still concerned I would suggest going to your polling station and offering your services as a paper unfolding instructor - just for peace of mind....

In that case can I put in an expenses claim for a hundred grand or so?
It seems a tad unfair for me to have to resign a post I do not have without at least the oppurtunity to pillage the expenses
After all, I have worked hard to ge the blame, I deserve recompense for services rendered....

Prescott was sacked ages ago* :D (I know who you mean.)

    * interestingly about a year ago today he publically revealed he had advised Blair to sack Brown some time ago. So many chances.

As has been previously pointed out I am neither trained or experienced enough in paper unfolding to undertake that task.
Besides, the polling station is in the WI hut next door, I would naturally have to claim my trainfare and a taxi too and from the railway station.(about £5000 should cover it) I presume I can put in the claim even though I have lost the reciepts?

Feck me, thats below the belt.
I may have the same fine physique as Prescott these days but I assure you I have never ever been to Hull, nor do I have mock Tudor beams on the front of my house.

I've often thought that anyone who can't explain the plot to 'Back to the Future II' shouldn't be allowed to vote. I'm willing to start at the folded paper level though and push the standard up to the BttF level over time. :D

Fair enough :D I have been accused of many things over the years, some of which may have been true, non of them being as unpleasant as Prescott though!
