Elliot Morley: putting the cunt in Scunthorpe.
    Now that is FUNNY.

    Longing to read 'ashie's' response.

Now here's a thing about that particular b'stard. Scunthorpe is a big steel town. The UK's steel industry is in the process of going down the tubes. It's the time somewhere like Scunthorpe could actually be needing their MP. Unfortunately, right at the time of their need, their MP's been found to be a shifty fcuker who's only out for himself

Makes you wonder what we pay the cnuts for at all!

Re: Lower Than A Penguin's Ball Sack Hair

Once upon a time, when the world was young and so was I, several frightening and important men with crowns on their arms or shoulders drummed into me and my contemporaries that the quickest way out of Her Majesty's Army, via a longish holiday in Colchester retirement home (is it still there?), was to fiddle the unit accounts or my travel claims. Like most people I took their advice most carefully.

Obviously I chose the wrong career and it annoys me greatly to read day after day that, if I'd become an MP, I'd have happily managed to purloin vast amounts of taxpayers money whilst doing very little on behalf of the country.

As Cromwell said to an equally useless crowd of MPs a very long time ago "In the name of God, go". And good riddance.

As far as I know, they claimed half the costs each, or as near as dammit.

Not defending the guy, but do expense claims go back to the individual once they have been paid out? Isn't there even a copy in the Fees Office files?

Expense receipts should be kept for audit purposes by the fees office. Thats where the CD's may have originated, as the audit of expenses was outsourced from Parliament.

Re: Lower Than A Penguin's Ball Sack Hair

Nadine Dorry, the Tory bird who claims we are torturing the MPs wrote a blog where she described how she was told on induction that the claims system was really designed and run to make up wages to the £100,000 pa they wanted but dared not implement for fear we would all bitch. She got a b*llicking from Cameron/Central Office and had to delete her blog. I suspect it is somewhere in Google archives but I cannot find it. If she can prove her allegation that they were expected to make up the something like £40 grand pa, it would be a far more serious allegation than anything that has appeared so far. The people who supposedly checked claims knew what was happening and any challenges they made were not for audit control but to keep us in ignorance of the back door way to £100K pa.

Dorries did not delete her blog, some comments in it were actionable especially claims about the Telegraph and the Barclay brothers. It was taken down on an order from a court. Im sure this isnt the last we hear about her outburst.
