Discuss Statement due on Gurkha residency today at the Current Affairs, News and Analysis forum within the The Army Rumour Service website; What a disgrace this Gov is. The sooner they are Gone the better.
Why do ...
We realy should sort out a real good demmo, not only for our Gurkha brothers in arms but to show that we ,as ex service are fed up being treated like crap
Just a thought here the ve released the news on a friday is it me been cynical or was it released on this day so that it will all be forgotten about by monday
If you check back you will find that new Labour/Zanu always try that on as it is POETS day in Parliment and Cyclops has until next Wednesday to dream up the lies
A minister with an auto reply on suggesting you write to him. Left a polite message on his answer machine suggested he responds to his emails or repays the £10,000 he received to improve on electronic communication.
Bloody good point - who do you write to about false claims against this allowance - Speaker of the House?
Not a lot of good doing that,mate,because-surprise,surprise- he is another crook filling his boots on expenses.
How come this rabble of a government can justify some £121,000 to fly what is effectively a terrorist(who is not a British citizen) into this country from Guantanamo Bay last February on an executive jet and then award him some £21,000 per annum welfare payments, when he was caught with a forged passport at Kharachi airport allegedly on his way to commit a terrorist outrage, and on the other hand deny British residency to people who have fought for Queen and country?.
Of course it has nothing to do with the fact that almost to the last one of them, the present Labour government are a bunch of anti-British communists who despise anything or anyone British?.
As someone on this site said "Gurkhas, not burkas".
"As we moved slowly through the outskirts of the town we passed row after row of little grey slum houses running at right angles to the embankment. At the back of one of the houses a young woman was kneeling on the stones, poking a stick up the leaden waste-pipe which ran from the sink inside and which I suppose was blocked. I had time to see everything about her - her sacking apron, her clumsy clogs, her arms reddened by the cold. She looked up as the train passed, and I was almost near enough to catch her eye."

I think that everyone at the Cenotaph in November should turn their back as Brown lays his wreath. That would send a powerful and very dignified message to the rest of the world
Brown won't even be leader of the opposition next Remembrance Day- the irrelevant cnut has laid his last wreath.
