Re: The ARRSE Beer Guide.
Not being allowed the pleasure of a more than occasional glug I do very much like the Bishops finger, fine on a hot day when ones carer has buggered off for the afternoon and Mrs WW is working.
But yesterday I was gifted a couple of bottles of a local beer from a micro brewery in Fraserburgh , Hardcore IPA, @ 9% a nice caremelish flavour and a short flash to bang on the after effects , 2 bottles provided a pleasant evening with no repercussions. ( still ended up legless though )

JW Lees great family brewery in Middelton Manchester http://www.jwlees.co.uk/
J Holts another good Manchester brewer http://www.joseph-holt.com/shop.asp
A good pub that flogs decent microbrewery beers is the The Church Inn, Uppermill. Ignore the food bollox and the 6 finger locals, enjoy about 9 cask ales at £1.50p a pint.Wandering Lost in the Electronic world of Music? Don't know your Speedball trance from Dirty south rap? Re: The ARRSE Beer Guide.
I'm seeing of the last of the Fallen Angel beers that I have been sampling this week, I have drunk a few more but have been too tired and emotional to remember what to write. last bottle being opened is the Tripple Trebuchet allegedly similar to a Trappist beer, certainly smells like one!
