Great cookbook
Bought a great book in The Works today....... Made in Italy by Giorgio Locatelli.
Reduced from £26 to £5.
It's one of those chatty books, with recipes and remeniscences, what I've read so far is really good, with lot's of simple but delicious Italian food, where the author's enthusiasm shines through.

Can't say I've seen that book, but sounds good.I like St Delia and Mrs Beeton for the basics. After that I'm a sucker for any BBQ book. I've got loads. Best of all is the Dinosaur cookbook, from the NY chain of BBQ joints.

Ahhhhh! Slow done ribs or pulled pork.
I like the BBC online cookery thingy.
This is quite good in a "techie bloke needs to cook impresively" sort of way.

Anything by Mark Hix seasonal British cooking at it's best.
If in London his restaurant 'Tramshed' is well worth a visit.The older I get..... the better I was....
