More than likely, there's some form of sugar in practically everything (even sausages, FFS). I try to avoid the refined rubbish though, whether it be in baked goods, soft drinks or your morning cuppa.
Catch a train to a plane
to a place overseas.
Over clouds over fields
over rivers and trees.
And they're serving me coffee
to put me at ease.
'Cos I'm drifting without you
borne on the breeze.
From my home!

Please tell me you don't use raw cane sugar instead? Have you ever seen what the locals do on the sacks of that stuff when it is being stored?

Jesus, no!
I cut pretty much all sugar out of my diet for a week quite a while ago along with most other processed carbs. Can’t quite remember why, I think it may have been for some blood tests. After the week I went back to eating the way I had before and couldn’t believe how shit it made me feel, so I cut it out again and haven’t looked back.
Do you mean sweetbreads, if so nothing to do with bollocks. I love them poached then fried with a bit of cream. Whereas the grilled bulls nuts I had in Slovenia were truely disgusting, no, there's no muscle in them just a salty blancmange like stodge

I cut out pretty much all white carbs when I did an Atkins diet to shift a lot of weight (yes it works), afterwards kept the white carbs down to low levels. One side effect was that I've never had a cold since and that was 8 years ago whereas before I used to get a couple of minor colds each year.
