Re: Help for Heroes Cookbook
I just picked up a copy too and it's pretty good actually. Would have bought it anyway on principle because of the charity but was plesantly suprised by how good it was... not that I've actually cooked anything out of it yet but never mind!

Re: Help for Heroes Cookbook
Got a copy for my birthday recently and enjoyed it as a read alone. I will try some of the recipies in due course.
Celebrities wer easked to name their heroes and a brief note is given.
Harry Patch is asked his hero and he gives "The Unknown German Soldier".
How humbling is that - Patch was a true gentleman and a hugely decent human being. I hope the big RSM in the sky is giving him a good time now.
Although I got the book as a present I would recommend it to anyone - do please buy one."Patience is counting down without blasting off."

Re: Help for Heroes Cookbook
Received my copy recently, it is brilliant! a fantastic variety of recipes, with easy instructions and some really good write ups on the opposite page of each recipe. I can't recommend this book enough! there is even a recipe for an Egg & Chip Banjo :D This would appeal to most people as there is something for everyone.

"Cheer up," he said, "It could get worse!"
So I cheered up and it got worse.

StiltsAll ways look on the bright side of life!!!
The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent terrorist threats and have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved." Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross." The English have not been "A Bit Cros...s" since the blitz in 1940
