This season's must have colour is MTP, or at least some form of multi terrain camouflage, and most of the major military equipment distributors are adding this to their product lines. Scotland based Highlander are the latest to do so under their Pro-Force military brand.

This is not a review as such as I have not used this App, indeed I don’t even have an iPad, however we have had a group who went on a tour last year and partially used the app. There was some difficulty in getting the app to download and work properly but more of that later.

The App is produced by: Pocket Tours who are keen to get the app reviewed by a third party during an actual trip to the Somme Battlefields.

What the App aims to do is give the user an interactive tool to be used while undertaking a tour of a Battlefield, in this case of the Somme Battlefields. ...

It’s fair to say that as far as boots designed for military application go, there’s not a lot of imagination in the majority of the styles available. Some might have some fancy leather design, or mesh in random places, but generally, they all look alike.

Let's be honest, the RLC doesn't have the world's greatest reputation on either these forums or more widely. Whilst the work they do is, in reality, pretty important there isn't very much glory in being a chef, stores specialist, driver or even pioneer (until they were disbanded in 2010).
