ARRSE is a really large website and we know that this can seem a bit daunting if you've only just arrived here. This guide is aimed at giving you a bit of information about how the site is laid out and where you might want to take a browse!

Forums. The beating heart of ARRSE are the forums so this is where we think you should start! With over 3.5 million posts, there is lots to look at so we'd recommend that you browse the forums using the three high level categories:

• General Discussion - many of the most busy forums from serious discussion of Current Affairs to the legendary NAAFI bar
  
• Specific Military - forums devoted to individual cap badges, training, equipment, recruitment, recent operations and even special sections for international colleagues.
  
• Everything Else - Hobbies, Sports, Social, Local and anything else we couldn't fit elsewhere!

From here, we'd recommend that you drill down into the area that interests you. If you get lost at any point you can always return to these start points using the menu items on the top left of every page (just below Mr Mushroomhead).

Other Areas - As well as the forums there is plenty of other content that is well worth a look:

• Gallery - images/pictures submitted by our users, including armywife_tracey ...
  
• ARRSEpedia - like wikipedia .... only much, much funnier!
  
• Reviews - serious reviews of equipment, boots and books.
  
• Chat, live online chat normally gets pretty busy in the evenings!

Help. There are loads of places that you can look for help but the two best ones are

• Web & Site Issues - post any problems that you are having in a new thread and someone will certainly get back to you pretty quickly
  
• Top Tips - We've created a special forum with all the top tips for using ARRSE in it.
  
• Contact Us - if all else fails then use the form to send site admin an email
