Number game ? what the point in having 1000s of useless FOBits draining the local resources and bringing nothing to the fight ?

I still think there is a contradiction is that stance of requesting the assistance of troops that are, on the other hand, branded as totally inept....

It's your leaders that are inept not your soldiers.

I dislike the French they are a bunch of dirty great surrendermonkey, side swapping cheese eaters.

However, they have a mainly beautiful country and don't give a fcuk who they upset in looking after No1.... shame we can't adopt a more similar attitude.

They have some delicious porn whores too.

When you stand there being all French and camp, are you proud to when you say 'I'm French'

Is it not like admitting to liking tofu and fingering dogs?

I'm just an ordinary citizen without diplomatic passport. Though in some European countries even diplomatic passport doesn't mean absolute immunity.

Likely it was a coincidence but then I arrived at a hotel in Creteil (SE from Paris) the police was here investigating an attack agains a receptionist that involved tear gas.

Also I have heard that some Paris suburbs are quite dangerous to live there, that setting cars on fire is something like a habit of the locals.

They are indeed though the French tend to play this up as clusters of dusky folk tend to induce hysteria. A minor banlieue ruck that wouldn't even make the papers in Belfast can become big news stories.

The UK is a good deal rougher looking at the stats here and here. In terms of assault victims the UK ranks 2nd with 2.8% France 7th with 1.4%.

... Italy is 19th with 0.2% and Japan is 20th with 0.1%. However there are some improvements
