Can you log into JPA via armynet

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hello,

I'm due to go on tour this month, and as a consequence have missed most of the briefings/build-up to JPA due to pre-deployment training.

I have only run through the JPA E-Learning package at home. My admin office isn't that helpful. I have some questions I hope someone can answer. :?

1.) Can JPA be accessed via armynet? If not is there any plan to do this in the future?

2.) Can JPA be accessed from a separate internet site? How do I get a log-in?

3.) If a military/specialist terminal is required to access JPA will this be available in Basra?

    Thanks very much,

  2. No

    No (at least not yet...)

    Yes (In theory anyway)
  3. First Question NO but they are looking into it (the far distance future that is)

Not sure but Some else will be able to answer this one

Each unit is different But most have terminals just for JPA.
  4. There is good access to JPA for HR Admin staff in a number of locations around Basrah. If you need help or pointing in the right direction, speak to the guys in the admin office at the COB Support Unit, they are based in the J1 village. Or the J1 Branch in Force Support have a pretty good handle on things.

    Good luck!
  5. The rational behind not having JPA access through the Internet is to avoid Hackers and security breaches/virus attacks etc.
