Does CMD actually want to win? Does the thinking go that if Labour can be re-elected they'll then carry all the blame for the disaster that follows, that they can then be annihilated forever in the next election.
Risky in the extreme. Another five years of Labour rule and there might not be enough of a country left to govern!

Loads and loads of Scargillites to have a toy with.
I doubt it would be five years. A Labour government with a slim majority that has to create a budget they thought the Torys were going to do. The financial catastrophe as they are forced to come clean about the economy. The total failure of Government, a motion of no confidence after two years and out forever.
It works for me.
...at least 3 crabs judging by their grinning swedes as they chatted with him in the 'stan yesterday....
I fear for the state of all our services strategically if they get re-elected, the constant mismanagement in "all" sectors needs a radical kick up the backside & this Liebour administration has'nt the backbone to implement it,
Post election, welfare, immigration & justice need seriously tackled, not just taslk but action, Liebour have left everything far too late as always.
If Labour actually win next year then they will be out of Government by 2011 and probably won't ever be a credible political party ever again - Socialism dies in 2011.
If the Tories do win, then they win nothing but a poisoned chalice and get all the blame and Labour sweep to power in 2015 to continue the dream of turning Britain into the GDR.
Then again there is the view that a lot of Labour MP's are going to hot foot it out of the country with their money to places like Cuba, so they can't be held accountable for the corruption that has taken place.
What about if Gordon stages a national emergency (its not so tin foil hat as its seems).
slightly off topic but has anyone else noticed that Liar Blair seems a bit too cocky and arrogant in the Iraq inquiry (Probably comes with being one of the richest men in Britain - thinks he can get away with it).
Sounds like the episode of The New Statesman, when B'stard had to help Labour avoid winning an election. Funny how such a short time ago such an idea was merely farce.
Surely the vote should be a privilage which has to be earnt , only those who have served in the various military arms should have the right in council and general elections
This isn't Starship Troopers you know.
I'm not convinced Labour have a chance of winning the next election. Sure there's plenty of people who have made a career out of signing on, but how many of them do you think will actually vote? My guess is not many, they'll be too buy watching Jeremy Kyle.
The 'traditional male elite' were the very reason Britain ruled the world 100 years ago. If only the modern tories were made of the same stuff...

And on your latter point, you are of course correct.
He already has.
