Is there a Certificate of Authenticity for the German Stick? I mean to say, it would not command the same value if, say, the wood was Austrian.

Pardon me for being a pedant, but..
I thought the handle had a metal screw cap on the bottom, that when removed revealed a string, pulled to arm the thing.
Oh, just like this one.
Maybe its an updated, more stream lined mk.
