Okay - Leave ARRSE as it is on the Front or replace with "Exercitus Rumor Muneris" the rear base will be www.arrse.co.uk and at present the top will be blank...

Would it make sense to have the Latin of Army Rumour Service as we are then repeating ourselves on the front...

What with production costs, shipping, import duty, charity donation then there has to be something in it for the person doing all this, a tenner or less would be very reasonable. I would pay more personally, but will await thee price announcement.

Good on you for taking the lead I say. If anyone moans aboutthe price then they don't have to buy them do they, and perhaps they will keep their moans to themselves.

    MM :D
In that case make it £100 and see how many sell!
Nobody suggested such a high price so why say something so stupid?

Perhaps the Jock members will want the English members to subsidise their like we do with everything else!

I would just leave it as is, the old saying about you can't please all the people all the time should have the line, you can't please some of the ARRSErs any of the time !

Since the original, and Vietnam updated, coins were intended to separate those serving from Walts how about only selling the coins to those that are serving or have have served in the military? This would be fairly easy to prove and validate. If that might omit other deserving cases (spouses, active charity supporters etc) then there could be some kind of sponsorship for membership - as they do for ArmyNet.

Just an idea before the civpop start squealing!
While that would be a good idea how would you expect people to prove their service?

I for one wouldn't be comfortable with sending my service details to a total stranger to verify.

Even though there are several people here who could verify my service, how could you be sure it wasn't just a web of walts spreading their lies?

The money is for charity, just let anyone buy one, it's only a coin not an OSM.
But you just know that someone will put a ribbon on it and wear it as bling!!

Put me down for one and if we can blag numbers then I'll take 216.

I reckon these coins could get me in a right state the amount of people on this website that I bump into in pubs!

That's the idea I designed a Re-Union coin for my old Unit, the re-union has been going for 11 years and most still bring their coins and either get free pints or end up challenging the wrong people and having to get the beers in...

There are companies in the UK that make these things (the way of Google). Might save on P & P and Duty - although I suspect that the cousins might do a better job.

    Mine angry and defrauded young?
