Re: Hols4H auction: ARRSE Challenge Coin #001
Let's go for £350, then. And to all H4H-supporting ARRSErs, have a good night, and a very pleasant tomorrow.

Re: Hols4H auction: ARRSE Challenge Coin #001
I'm unsure if this is fantastic or just plain daft. It takes me a couple of months to save that kind of spare cash, and it's normally for essential things like getting the motor serviced or travelling abroad. Some of these ARRSE chariddee auctions wholly defy the current financial climate.

Fucking bollocks. :( My wife was hoovering today, and the noise meant that she didn't hear the postie at the doorbell. Now I've got to go to the parcel depot in the morning to sign for my coin. Another day's wait...

Work? Far too busy for that kind of thing.

Of course, a group of bidders could always club together to negate the chance of this priceless treasure leaving British shores, and being used solely to amuse slack-jawed hayseeds and dodgy cowboys* in seedy Texas bars?
* This is in no way meaning to denigrate cowboys in bars, who have a perfect right to live whatever lifestyle they choose, and dress accordingly. Far be it from me to judge how other people want to carry on. Not my cup of tea, but there you are; takes all sorts.
