Mark, fantastic post, that shows the true extent of the support network for our injured and sick troops.
Thanks for the post, and I think I won't be the only one whose reassured that the wounded are getting treatment and other support from the very best.
Good luck to you sir in all your future endeavours.

Mark - all the best in the future, been a privilege working with you first with you, first as a patient at DMRC, then as an MLO. Quite a few guys have told me abut this guy who came to see them on the ward and then rolled his trouser leg up to show them a prosthetic limb!
The MOD Occupational Therapist was named as a Barclay's Woman of the year 2011, for the work she is doing.

I may be a little biased but having worked first in the NHS then for the MOD, no way could I go back. The treatment the guys ( and girls) get is second to none, and I am proud to play a part in this.

Thanks to everyone who has posted. I'm sure some of you are members of Regimental associations or the British Legion, if treatment of Soldier's comes up as a conversation please spread the word as unfortunately the Negative/untruths always seem to outweight what really goes on.
I think the MOD could do a hell of alot more using the media in the right way to highlight what goes on but they always seem to be scared when it comes to injured Soldier's.I enjoy walking very slowly, so fcuk you!!

Alls good. I've decided to do a law degree, then I'll do a few years as Prime Minister - just to make my fortune.
