From Mr Google "A live in the rear fusebox, theres one above the large redfuse.. "

That's the one! Got a pic of it. Will use a piggy back fuse and connect into an existing circuit.

Just a word of warning. Do not leave it charging overnight because you may discover a flat batterry in the morning.

Definately won't be doing that. I've got a piggyback fuse holder so will take it off an existing feed. However, I did notice the fuse board stays live when the ignition is off so all the fuse ways may remain live also. Ordered the bits I need of fleabay so hopefully should get it wired up next weekend.

    Other words of advise...

Don't try to bite through live wires.

Don't stick your fingers in the sockets.

    Don't lick the connections.

Don't pour petrol in to your boot, leave at a few hours and then throw in a match.

    Just don't, Ok?

Why don't you just get an extender cable and plug it into the one in the back and route the cable under the back seats

At the back is a 230V AC supply as I have an inverter fitted. Even if there was a 12V supply, I wouldnt want to do this anyway as I hate trailing cables around. There is a supply in the boot. Just need to tap into it with a piggy back fuse.

    Cheers

I mean't the fag lighter between the backs of the front seats and route the cable backwards wouldn't be trailing as you can lift the seat squab pass the cable through the back and then lower it again.

Ha, I despair at your futile efforts! you dont say how much current (amps) you want, more current means you blow a fuse if you piggyback a fitted circuit, but virtually all cars are fitted with the same cable loom for model, (why make varients?) but the requisite cable extension is tucked away. If you buy an NON-(insert vehicle manufactuer) item here, them you have to buy a bloody adapter. and probaby fit a relay if its hi current into relay box and/or and drag out the on/off pair of wires from the loom and then buy the extortinate priced switch that fits the dashboard.

This story is old and applies to all cars. Them blank panels on your dashboard can be very expensive.

And I did covert fits, much better than the NI guys when we met up.

My advice to the Original Poster is to have at least one fire extinguisher handy if and when you attempt the dangerous job of interfering with the wiring in your boot.
