I would love to see this get away from some lights.

Road legal v8 mini 400bhp and 100 shot of NOS to top it all off. That is nicely shoe-horned in the back there.

Can't see that they'd have a leg to stand on. Building something from scratch and adding a RR grille is another matter.

I built this for the Spice Girls. It was a non runner, didn't need to be but looks like somebody has connected the brakes and fuel tank to get it mobile. They've added that roof too.

I used to build things for the Spice Girls too. Before the unfortunate court case obviously.

Back in the late 70's,I had occasion to go to the 'Chelsea Cruise',saw a Mk 1 Toyota Starlet, with a Daimler 2.5 ltr engine with the supercharger poking up through the bonnet, but the delight of the night was a Volks Bus,in red lead, and primer (deliberately),with a Porsche Boxer engine fitted,he used to take great delight in sitting at traffic lights, and seeing off Capris, and Cortinas, always been my dream to do one, alas I'm now to old,and money is tight!

This thread has reminded me of a project that my old man did in the 1970s.

Dad was ex- REME and believed that anything mechanical was capable of improvement.

So he got the family car (Morris Minor Traveller) and worked out that a Riley 1500 engine with twin carbs would be just the thing.

This was in the days of what were affectionately known as 'Perks of the Job' so the entire conversion including brakes etc was carried out at the Salford City Transport maintenance department at public expense.
Even got it resprayed in the company bus colour of quite bright green.

I seem to recall that the fucking thing didn't go any faster but it did stick out in the crowd.
Plus the old man could never drive in to work in it because of the colour.
    You're all puffs.

    Streched Triumph Herald.
Haven't had an accident in years. See a lot in my rear view mirror though.

It's very unlucky to be superstitious.
