    Ivan's answer to the Range Rover?

    We all know Range Rovers and SUVs in general, but what I thought was a one-off, that I actually followed across the Dvortsovy Bridge in St Petersburg in about 2002, seems to be a serious Ivan attempt at a pukka Range Rover alternative. I thought, at the time, that it was just some Ivan on a "DIY-bigfoot" caper, but it seems that's not the case. Does anybody have any more info on this jam-jar (scroll down for more piccies):
