I recently went to Fort Henry on the US Canadian boarder, completed in 1832 and manned by the British Army for many years.

It's a fascinating place, fully restored and has a volunteer (civilian) historic guard.

Whilst watching their drill it seemed quite different to the British and Canadian drill (which are almost the same as one another)

I was wondering if anyone can tell if the drill that they are doing is genuine old British 1800s or they have just made it up.
