Nobby Nobbs is a prime example of ...........whatever he is, and Angua is terribly sexy.
Both Nanny Ogg and Granny Weatherwax are saucy witches and very likeable.
Death is superb, and Vetinari is the best tyrant ever.
Voted for Vimes, but Death is a real cool dude for my second choice.

Hey OFaH, how about Salacia Delorisista Amanita Trigestrata Zeldana Malifee von Humpeding, or "Sally" for short? Now there's sexy!

Bloody hell mate, sitting on that fence is gonna pay havoc with your piles. :D

    Death for me.
Blackadder: A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

My favourites are Cohen the Barbarian, cos I'm a Cohen and he kicks arrse, CMOT Dibbler because I know a lot of people just like that, and Duck man, cos he walks round with a duck on his head...oh, and Foul ole Ron while we're at it, someone who gets paid NOT to turn up at weddings!

Although Vetinari is just plain cool. I want to BE Vetinari.

And Cpl Nobby Nobbs is brilliant. And Foul ole Ron. And Gaspode the wonder dog.

Bugger. Like nearly all of his characters.

    I think you'll find that that's, 'Buggrit!'

I love Rincewind and I agree the two shows on Sky were abmissal. I also find CMOT Dibbler extremely likable (I always think of Harry Redknapp when I think of CMOT).

I am surprised no-one has mentioned the works of Bergholt Stuttley Johnson!

Don't get me started on my piles! A martyr to them.

The problem with Pratchett's books is that so many of his charcterts are likeable, even the bad ones and it's difficult to pick just one.
As the previous poster pointed out, 'Sally' is a babe too.

Re: Terry Patchett - Who is the best character?

I never realised there were so many closet Pratchett fans wandering around arrse, and probably many more that are too scared to admit to being able to read.

Again, apologes for the lack of choice in the poll, there were a lot more on there but it wouldn't let me have them all so I had to whittle it down some and of course some of the comments since then have made me question my own sanity as to why I didn't include them.
Death may be certain, but comms aren't.
