    Chronicles Of Space Captain Smith

    So far, 3 books written by Toby Frost:

    1, Space Captain Smith
    2, The God Emperor of Didcott
    3, Wrath of the Lemmingmen

    Found them to be bloody funny books. Typically British sense of humor with a mick take of Colonial society In the best fashion of the mighty Flashman Novels.

    Well worth the read

    I read the first book a while ago. Although many parts were funny, I did think he was trying a bit to hard to out-parody Douglas Adams/Terry pratchett.
    Months later I bought the 2nd book - forgetting my feelings for the 1st and once again there were good bits but lots of mediocrity
    Didn't bother with the 3rd
    The only thing that keeps me from realising my full potential is the depressing awareness that it probably wouldn't take much time or effort...
