Re: Pull Up A Sandbag - the Novel
It won't take a whole weekend, para_medic, but you should be warned that you need tissues when reading.
To wipe your eyes when you've laughed! And this you can see is the bolt. The purpose of this
Is to open the breech, as you see. We can slide it
Rapidly backwards and forwards: we call this
Easing the spring. And rapidly backwards and forwards
The early bees are assaulting and fumbling the flowers:
They call it easing the Spring.
They call it easing the Spring: it is perfectly easy
If you have any strength in your thumb: like the bolt,
And the breech, and the cocking-piece, and the point of balance,
Which in our case we have not got; and the almond-blossom
Silent in all of the gardens and the bees going backwards and forwards,
For today we have naming of parts.

Re: Pull Up A Sandbag - the Novel
The book arrived whilst being on holiday so only just started reading.
It's fabulous and GRB is dead right about the tissues.

Stop teasing, girls!
All in good time... :D"If there is one thing worse than a murderer it's a dirty rotten stinking grass... and that goes for litterbugs as well."

Andy Simms, of Soldier Magazine was kind enough to add our book to the review section in the July Issue of Soldier Magazine (Pg 95) and we have been informed the book will be in the August Issue of Sapper Magazine also...
Thank You Very Much, all help in getting the word out is very much appreciated...

Re: Pull Up A Sandbag - the Novel
Have just heard from someone in FaceBook that "Pull Up a Sandbag" is now being stocked in some Waterstones Shops, a mention of Waterstones in Fareham, Hampshire so far... has anyone seen them on sale in any other Waterstones locations?
That's Good news... I think!
