Well I'm new to this blogging lark and having flicked through some of them I can honestly say mine will not be of the ball bouncingly funny, emotional or interesting nature. Sorry but I guess thats life but what the hell it's nice to sit and write.

Having recently moved to Kent to lodge with the big busted woman (and I mean these babies are proper funbags) I found myself needing to find a new TAC seeing as the Royal Anglians are too far away now and as the CQMS quite rightly said unless I get a car I'm just being ripped off.

So 'whats the nearest TA unit in Kent?' asks I. Well there are the Fray Bentos RLC in Maidstone, 3 PWRR Assault Pioneers in Rochester along with the Royal Engineers EOD and finally the Booties in Chatham.

Now common sense would normally take over here and I'd have gone for a transfer to PWRR however I saw the oppertunity to go to the Booties and pretty much jumped on it. Even though it means leaving the TA and re-joining I feel that this option provides me with the much needed challenge I am always looking for as well as being able to get on Herrick with 3 Cdo Brigade as soon as I complete the Commando course (apparently).

So now its just a case of completing some physiotherapy for my back injury and regaining the lost ground in terms of fitness then going down there applying and pushing myself as much as possible.

Happy Days, now off to the pub with me
